Pumps for the Purified Water (PUW) line

In the Purified Water line, pumps are mainly used for the production and distribution of Purified Water (PW). This is a basic ingredient for the production of medicinal products for human use.

Production takes place under the strictest hygiene conditions. It is obvious that these raw materials must be absolutely free of germs in order to be able to produce the medicines without undesirable side-effects.

For this reason, the pumps used in the process must have a sterile design. As a result, the pumps in the PRP2PHP2 and FP2+ series are the ideal solution.

These pumps have a sterile design and a roughness value < 0.4 µm (for PHP/PRP only) for parts in contact with water. This guarantees the sterility of the water during circulation. In addition, they also have low energy consumption.

Pumps for the destillation unit

In the distillation unit, Purified Water undergoes several distillation processes, which take place at very high temperatures.

This way, all unwanted molecules, for example of minerals, are removed until very pure water remains (H2O).

That water can be used for Water For Injection (WFI). Due to the aggressiveness and poor lubricating properties of this liquid, specific sealing configurations are sometimes required (Hydropad, NovaPad, etc.).

Pumps for Water For Injection (WFI)

Water For Injection (WFI), like PW, is a basic ingredient for the production of medication for human use. Therefore, here too, the process must be free of germs and any side-effects must be avoided at all times. As a result, the pumps must be able to withstand the higher temperatures and must never compromise sterility.

That's why the pumps from PHP2 and FP2+series are  also the ideal solution. With their sterile design (roughness value 0.4 µm for parts in contact with water) and low energy consumption, they are the ideal partner for this process.

Pumps for CIP/SIP

CIP in the pharmaceutical industry is accompanied by a very high level of hygiene to ensure the safety of the process. Therefore, the CIP return pumps of the PRP2 & CRP+ series are our preferred solution. 

These air-handling pumps are 3A certified. This gives you the guarantee that the required level of hygiene will never be compromised.  

If the system is also subjected to a SIP, the pumps can also be equipped with a Novapad seal. Due to the specific properties of this seal, there is a reduced risk of damage due to dry running, which is common during this sterilisation process.
