Packo has enlarged its test bench up to 1000 m³/h, 110 kW and 12 bar. This was necessary because of the further extension of the ICP3, ICP4 and FP3 pumps.

The test bench's piping has a diameter of 300 mm. There is a frequency convertor of 110 kW where all pump characteristics on all number of revolutions between 500 and 3600 t/min can be measured. The absorbed power is registered by a torque meter with a reach up to 1000 Nm. This will cover a further enlargement up to 150 kW on 1450 t/min.

With the installation we can create a vacuum to measure NPSH values efficiently.
The measurements are directly read in by a pc where they are being processed online.
